This is a fun one!

Pretty unique find, this 3 piece set by Lane furniture was made in 1971!

The walnut headboard features two padded backrests and a beautiful exotic wood center door, all of which drop down to reveal storage within! Mounted above are two George Kovaks for Sonneman Canister reading lamps! Partial

Sonneman paper labels still present on each lamp.

A matching pair of walnut storage towers, each with a drop down storage compartment that doubles as a bedside table. The uppermost area on each tower used to house a speaker I believe, as there is a small hole in the backing where cords came through at one point, but it’s just an empty space now… a perfect stash space.

Each piece is stenciled on the back with its serial

number, which when read backwards, reveals the manufacturing date and plant number.

i.e. ser no 3177290 is Sept 27, 1971 at Plant no.3

The headboard measures 60”w x 12”d x 48.5”h

The towers measure 24”w x 12”d x 56”h
